Today, Nittoyumex specializes in the production and refinement of ultra-pure magnesium, especially for medical applications. Nittoyumex furthermore also develops machines for refining magnesium from commercial to ultrahigh quality grades and has extensive experience in the field of ultra-precision 5-axis simultaneous metal machining.

The top-of-the-line product of Nittoyumex’ own research work represent biodegradable products made of ultrapure magnesium. Magnesium proves to be difficult to process with conventional methods due to its softness and tendency to oxidize, but with its 65 highly qualified employees, Nittoyumex produces body resorbable bone plates and screws in various designs out of magnesium with utmost precision. In Dusseldorf Nittoyumex will present a selection of these magnesium parts and also show its newly patented disposable medical screwdriver with integrated screw drop protection.
