Technical Arts Co., Ltd. at COMPAMED 2018

Established in 1990, Technical Arts started production of round die punching blades and profiled form cutter blades for the cutting of paper and board products. It has also gained experience with laser cutting technology.

Early on, the company also ventured into the development of products for medical use; in February 2010, they developed first prototypes of puncture needles for drainage (procedures) and successfully entered the market in as early as October in the same year. Since then, the company has never received any negative comments from customers regarding the sharpness of their needles.

Thanks to the company’s long-standing experience in making high precision cutting tools, the needles produced by Technical Arts have good sharpness and facilitate the operation of surgeons. Their portfolio consists of a variety of needles with different cutting faces suited for minimal invasive surgery, which not only eases the physical burden of patients during the operation but also help their postsurgical recovery.

In addition to needles with a 2-sided cut face which are of unparalleled sharpness, Technical Arts also offers ones with 4- or 6-sided cut faces that minimize the diameter of the surgical scar and therefore shorten the time for patients to get recovered.
