Sokenmedical Co., Ltd. at virtual.MEDICA 2020

With more than 40 years of experience in the field of magnetic therapy, the Japanese manufacturer Sokenmedical Co., Ltd. owns rich technical knowledge and know-how. In addition to continuous research and development work, cooperation with Saitama University and other institutions in Japan also contributed to the company’s success. Since 1989 the company has distributed its health equipment to the entire Asian market.

Sokenmedical belongs to the sponsors (“partners-family”) of the Japanese professional soccer team “Urawa Reds”, which already facilitates the magnetic therapy devices for player recovery. Furthermore, in 2016 they even started a testing project with multiple soccer clubs from Barcelona, Spain. One of their main target groups are athletes and sport medicine specialists. That is one of the reasons why the devices are being offered in various versions, ranging from smaller units for private use to larger units for an application in medical clinics.

At virtual.MEDICA the company will also present a new product: Sokenmedical is the distributor for the new training system for sports teams “Winnerlights” in Japan, which is already being used successfully in football by several youth teams of German Bundesliga clubs. Winnerlights makes it possible to shift the training focus on cognitive skills. Light signals that are carried by the players, placed on the playing field and at goals and can be adjusted at any time using a convenient app. In this way, trainers can alter a team’s composition and targets at any time and thus instruct the players to be constantly alert and stay responsive.
